a sweet little Royal Doulton figurine that I got at a thrift store for $3-I didn't realize what it was until after I bought it--just liked it because it was pink.
Hopefully, you can rotate this but I don't know how to (yet). Anyway, this is a little cupboard I fill for each season, still on Valentines because I haven't gotten the Easter decos out yet.

A beautiful bouquet that my younger daughter (we have 2, and 1 son proudly serving his country in the US Army) sent me for my birthday. LOVE IT!
Thank you all so much for the sweet comments and the encouragement. Grandaughter goes home today so I will be on my own for awhile (gulp!) Hope I can do this. As for you all who asked about the gown, I am considering selling it even tho gdaughter wants me to hold on to it for when she gets married (in the very distant future, I hope) but I've pointed out to her at that point, she may not be the same size and also may want something different. Will post here if I decide to sell. It is a gorgeous gown w/ lots of lace, covered button, and pearls. So, here are a few pics from around my house. As you can see, I am definitely shabby chic and love pink. Also, am being very optimistic about spring coming soon.
